Radio Mariam-Arabic 4.10.13

Radio Mariam is the first Radio Maria in Arabic, established in December 2015. Its primary objective is to provide Arab Christians with a platform to express themselves and support evangelization and the pursuit of peace in the Middle Eastern countries, aligning with Pope Francis' appeal to assist Arab Christians during this challenging period.

Radio Mariam began broadcasting with the commencement of the Jubilee of Mercy, serving as a symbol of God's mercy among all Arabic-speaking individuals and offering hope to the suffering and persecuted Christian communities.

This radio station serves as a crucial link for Arabic-speaking Christians in the Middle East, enabling them to voice their perspectives and share their multifaceted religious heritage derived from various churches.

The project's main focus is to provide support and solace to the Christian community facing persecution in war-torn Muslim countries such as Iraq, Iran, and Syria.

Radio Mariam Arabic strives to become a symbol of peace and reconciliation within diverse Middle Eastern communities, protecting these ancient communities from extinction resulting from deportations and forced displacements. The station aims to amplify their voices globally, preserving a profound religious tradition that unites the entire Christian world.

Radio Mariam Arabic broadcasts can be accessed via web streaming and satellite transmission from a central studio, as well as mobile studios situated throughout the Middle East region. These mobile studios are managed by local dioceses.
